With every booking, we schedule a Meet & Greet with our new client and the pet(s) we will have the pleasure of caring for. This is free of charge and typically lasts no longer than 30 minutes.

Some of the details we discuss at our Meet & Greet might be:

  • Feeding and potty needs - normal times for feeding, where your pet likes to eat, any gastro issues or picky eater, and even what snacks are ok.

  • Home information such as door codes, camera & security systems, house layout, outdoor settings, and where we will be sleeping.

  • Special medical needs like mobility issues, medicine administration, and vision/hearing issues.

  • Vet name and information, and a personal friend or relative, in case of any emergencies.

  • Favorite spots to walk or take your bestie, their favorite things to do, and what their triggers might be (thunder, fireworks, cars, etc.).

  • Meet & Greets are also a chance for you to get to know us and ask questions. We want to ensure you feel confident and happy about hiring us!

  • Communication: We send texts, A LOT of pictures to your preferred mobile number or email to let you know we've arrived, and a quick summary after we've left. With pet sitting and overnight stays, we will send a summary at the end of the day. We are very open to communicating with you and if you need to hear from us more often, just say the word and it shall be done! 

 

Bookings: 

  • For dog walks, we require full payment due the time of walk.

  • If you have reoccurring walks, we will request total payment due on the last day of the scheduled walk.

  • For Pet Sitting, we require a 50% deposit to hold your time on the calendar. Your balance is due by the last day of your pet sitting appointment.  

  • Because schedules get filled so quickly, any last-minute bookings may incur an additional fee depending upon availability. 

  • We allow for a 48 hour window to send payment, however, after that a 25% charge will be added to your total.

These Holiday rates will include an additional 25% charge during the weekends and weeks of the following holidays: â€‹

  • Easter

  • Mother’s Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Father’s Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

  • President’s Day

  • Juneteenth

  • Indigenous Peoples' Day/Columbus Day

  • Veterans Day

 

These Holiday rates will include an additional 30% charge during the weekends and weeks of the following holidays: 

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas

  • New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

 

Cancellations:

  • For Dog Walks, we ask for a 48 hour advance notice otherwise you will be charged the total cost of your appointment. We work closely with our clients as best we can so please always text/call/email as soon as you know about any changes to your schedule and we will see if we can accommodate! Cancellations on our part will be due to inclement weather and you will not be held responsible for payment.

  • For all Pet Sitting, we require between 30-15 days' notice. Due to the nature of pet sitting, we often must decline other pet sitting requests as we cannot be in two places at once. 15 days' notice might give us the opportunity to refill that timeslot. With this cancellation, you will not receive your 50% deposit (or you will be billed 50% if you'd not already made a deposit), but will not be charged the remaining balance. Any cancellations that are 15 days and less, we will keep your 50% deposit and invoice for the remaining 50%., or you will be invoiced in full if you'd not provided a deposit. We hope you do understand that we tend to book our pet sitting appointments well in advance and therefore, under 15 days' notice will most certainly not allow us to refill that calendar time, which means we could not likely do any business on those days we specifically set aside for you. We do our best to accommodate all of our clients and therefore ask that you always text/call/email as soon as you know about any changes to your schedule.

  • We do not give credits or provide "free" pet sitting in the future for unfortunate cancellations.

What We Do Not Do:

  • We do not harvest your garden or replant your flowers especially if your dog(s) tear them up.

  • We do not clean your house, do laundry, or empty your dishwashers upon arrival. How you leave your home for us is how it will be left for your return.

  • We do not do drop-ins and show up for pet sitting at an exact time as there are too many variables with other clients, however, we will do our best to be to your home within a few hours of your departure.

  • We do not service large aquariums or reptiles.

  • We do not run errands for you while you are away (ex: dropping off clothes to someone or stopping at your mechanic to pick up tools).

  • We do not watch your children or shuttle anyone around.

  • We do not stay in homes wherein we are unable to shower, prepare food, or sleep in a bed comfortably - these instances would be better suited for drop-ins.

  • If you're uncertain whether we can assist you with some extras, please don't hesitate to ask!
